As many of you already know, I'm passionate about Spain. You already know as well that I like to spend my birthday traveling - this year the destination was Cádiz. But last year, on my birthday, I also went to the neighboring country: Seville.
No, it wasn't my first time in this Spanish city. I went as a child, with my family, and 4 years ago to go to Isla Mágica (please don't go in August... June or September are the best times to enjoy 100% and not spend half the day in queues). However, the truth is that I hadn't had the opportunity yet to really know Seville. Until September 2015.

Seville is a city full of history, which takes us up to the 7th century, when the southern Iberian Peninsula was controlled by the Arabs - at that time the region was called Al-Andaluz. At the same time, the capital of Andalusia is a modern, warm and cosmopolitan city – it's the fourth largest Spanish city. No doubt it's worth knowing.
I leave you with some photos of this trip, highlighting the incredible panoramic view from the top of the Giralda, in the Seville Cathedral, and for the architecture and breathtaking gardens of the Real Alcázar of Seville, the oldest royal palace in Europe still in operation and scenario of the series Game of Thrones. If you are looking for a place to have lunch, I suggest the Casablanca restaurant (near the Cathedral), with an unusual decoration, with many photographs, attentive service and delicious food - as Spain has already accustomed me.
Don't be afraid to get lost or worry about following a itinerary. Here, I assure you that you will always find something special, like a garden, a coffee shop or a square that will make you fall in love with this Andalusian city.
