For those who have been to at least one edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa the premise isn't new: The city of Rock is more than a musical event, it is an experience. This year's edition welcomed about 329 thousand people and had a great news from the vice president of the event: Roberta Medina announced that she is pregnant with her second child, due to be born in December.

The first day of the event received about 67 thousand people. The concerts of Xutos e Pontapés and Bruce Springsteen were the ones that attracted the most attention, and the latter had a special presence: Adele, who acted over the next two days for a very crowded MEO Arena.

The second day was one of those that attracted more people to the Bela Vista Park (74 thousand). Day that acted on the World Stage Fergie, Mika and Queen + Adam Lambert, who paid tribute to the former lead singer, Freddie Mercury. Adam Lambert didn't leave anyone indifferent: for some, the artist who became known after his participation in the American Idols, fell short of expectations; for another, it couldn't have been better to choose. The truth is that Queen + Adam Lambert managed to fill the audience with nostalgia when interpreting themes like "We are the Champions", "Bohemian Rhapsody" or "Who wants to live forever" among other hits. On this day, the Rock City electronic tent was also running high. Among the Dj's were the Portuguese Dj Vibe and the international and considered one of the best in the world, Carl Cox.

The third day of Rock in Rio had some problems. The crowd wasn't much (56 000 people) and the night was marked by technical problems of American band Korn, only played about 4 songs and that the third sound problem, left the World Stage. The fifth and final day of the event had an unexpected cancellation: Ariana Grande couldn't act in Lisbon for health reasons, forcing the organization to solve the flaw in the poster with a last-minute replacement: a second concert by Ivete Sangalo, who returned to animate the park of Bela Vista with more energy but the same outfit. Still, Rock in Rio managed to bring about 47,000 people to the venue. Another incident of this day happened during the afternoon: in Vodafone Stage there was a power failure during the spectacle of B Fachada.
